By accessing and using Basho Kigo Studio's services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Service Description
Basho Kigo Studio provides educational services focused on Japanese short-form poetry, including online courses, workshops, translation services, and educational resources. Our platform offers both free and paid content, with various subscription tiers and one-time purchases.
User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Payment Terms and Refunds
Payment for courses and services is due at the time of enrollment or purchase. We offer a 14-day refund policy for most courses, subject to completion of less than 25% of the course material. Translation services and custom educational materials are non-refundable once work has commenced.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content provided through our platform, including course materials, translations, and educational resources, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of any original poetry or creative work you submit through our platform. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your work for educational purposes within our platform.
Code of Conduct
Users must maintain respectful and constructive behavior in all interactions. Harassment, discrimination, plagiarism, or disruptive behavior will result in account suspension or termination. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our community standards.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our service with reasonable notice to users.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users via email or platform notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
